Tea Tree Anti-Imperfection Night Mask Review

If it has Tea Tree in it, I’m probably using it.  I only recently found out about The Tea Tree Anti-Imperfection Night Mask (£12) as I was scrolling through beauty review blogs and I knew immediately that I wanted to to try it.  This night mask is for oily and blemished skin and it leaves the skin feeling smoother and appearing clearer the next morning.  It contains salicylic acid and tea tree oil which are both perfect for dissuading breakouts and existing blemishes.  It aids in maintaining a clearer appearance of the skin and gives a more mattifying appearance.  The Tea Tree night mask also reduces redness and pigmentation and eventually evens out the skin tone after regular use.  It is free of alcohols and is 100% vegan.  The texture is sticky and jelly like which makes it a little difficult to apply from brush/hand to the skin.

If you use The Body Shop Tea Tree products in general, this should be the last step in your Tea Tree Routine.  It should be applied to clean and cleansed skin with clean hands or a face mask brush.  I prefer the brush because the smell of this night mask is quite potent.  Once applied, leave it on and relax for the remainder of the night.

I’ve had this mask for over a week and I have used it a few times.  It works very quickly and does what is says on the tub.  My skin felt instantly smoother and less blemished the next day.  However, my skin felt drier that usually does in the mornings which was unexpected and disappointing.  Nonetheless, I think it will be more effective if I use it less so that my skin isn’t feeling dry most mornings.
