Drops of Youth Gentle Foam wash & Liquid Peel Review

I have been using The Body Shops Drops of Youth Gentle Foam Wash (£9.50) and Liquid Peel. (£18.00) Review for almost a month now and I have been amazed with the results of my skin. The Drops of Youth Collection has been out for a long time now and I was reluctant to try it in the beginning because the main purpose of this collection is to tackle anti-ageing but I am only 21. So, I stuck with my go-to products from their Tea Tree Collection. However, I wanted to try something new and I learned that the Youth Gentle Foam wash and Liquid Peel exfoliates, illuminates and removes dead skin which is what I wanted for a clean and fresh feel on my face. Both of these products do a similar job to one another but are to be used differently which is why I bought both.

The entire Drops of Youth Collection contains plant stem cells which encourages cell turnover. Cell turnover is the process of our skin making new skin cells which come from the lower layers of the epidermis (the thin, protective, visible layer of skin visible to the naked eye) to the top layer and then shedding off the top layer of skin. This helps to prevent dead skin from building up, thus leaving the skin looking more youthful and revitilised. Plant stem cells also have a stark ant-flammitory and anti-oxidant effects which protect against sun damage and wrinkles.

Drops of Youth Liquid Peel

Drops of Youth Liquid Peel

The Drops of Youth Liquid Peel deeply cleans, exfoliates and removes dead skin. I’ve never really used a skin peel before so using this was fun and the results were instantaneous. It feels as if you’re shedding old skin and letting a new take over. Although this product removes dead skin from my face, I still felt hydrated after. This product is supposed to be used 2-3 times a week. I always use it 3 and usually in the evenings.
