Suri: Bringing Mediterranean and Middle Eastern Cuisine Together…At a Cost

Processed with VSCO with c8 presetSuri is a recently opened restaurant bringing Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine together.  It is situated on 20-22 King Street which is very central and close to other high street shops, bars and restaurants. I was feeling peckish a few weeks ago and came across this place.  I decided to go in because it is tapas style which is just what I needed.

Suri has an amazing atmosphere with modern, minimal interior with an exterior that has a lovely european feel.

The service was amazing and the food was delicious but overpriced for what it actually is.  It is just expensive small plates of food.  The Za’tar fries was £4.00.  Although it was a large portion even for 2 people, I think they’re the most expensive fries I’ve ever had.  The sliced beef was yoghurt on the side was £10.00.  My curiosity was satisfied but I am unsure if I will return.  If I was actually hungry and not peckish, I would hate to face the bill at the end of an experience here.
