Craving Guacamole

Processed with VSCO with c8 presetGuacamole.  Guacamole.  Guacamole.  That is all that has been on my brain in the last few days.  There have only been a few times I have had guacamole and every time I have been in a restaurant, so I thought I should try making my own for once, see how it turns out.  Now I think the only way to have guacamole is homemade.

You will need:

  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 lemon
  • Half a large tomato
  • Half a red onion
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Mixed Herbs
  • Olive Oil
  • Blender
  1. Processed with VSCO with c8 presetPeel avocado and put contents into a bowl, then smooth out with a fork.
  2. Chop the tomato into small cubes, the red onion into a thin and small slices and put them in the bowl with the crushed avocado.
  3. Crush the garlic cloves with a garlic press or with the heel of your hand.
  4. Add one teaspoon of olive oil and mix with a spoon.
  5. Put all of the contents just used into a blender and blend until you have your desired consistency.
  6. Empty contents from the blender back in to the bowl.
  7. Add salt, pepper and mixed herbs to your blended guacamole and mix thoroughly with a spoon.
  8. Squeeze a bit a lemon on top and mix again.
  9. Enjoy your guacamole with some tortillas, in a taco or in a burrito.
