Tuna + Cucumber on Toast with Spinach and Coleslaw

It is rare that there are carbs to be found in my kitchen, but there were two pieces left, so I decided to whip something up.  I wanted to make sure that my meal would be healthy as well as tasty.  So I made tuna on toast with cucumber on top with some spinach and coleslaw on the side.  It’s quick and simple to make.

You will need

  • Tinned tuna
  • Salad cream
  • Chilli Mayonnaise
  • Pepper
  • Bread (none in particularly, Brown is better)
    • Whether the bread is toasted or not is your choice
  • Coleslaw
  • Spinach

Grab a bowl and empty the tinned tuna into it.  Squeeze a little bit of salad cream onto the tuna.  It will give the toast moisture.  Thus butter or olive is not needed to be onto the bread.  After you have poured the salad cream onto the tuna, mix thoroughly to make sure it has full coverage.  Sprinkle some pepper onto the tuna and salad cream and mix well again.

Toast the bread of your choice (if you like).  Whilst the bread is toasting, cut some slices of cucumber.  Once the bread is toasted, evenly spread the tuna mix onto the toast slices.  Put the sliced cucumber to top it all off.

Once you have finished putting the tuna and cucumber onto the toast, get some spinach and coleslaw and mix it together as a side dish.

And you’re done.

If you try it, I hope you like it.  It’s one of my favourites.
